Quite often, we are asked for recommendation on a wine that complements our petit cakes.
While we are a little partial towards the sparkling wines, favoring Champagne Brut above all, we find the Castelnau Sauternes quite a delicious dessert wine - elegant, well balanced with a smooth finish. It pairs especially well with the Orange Blossom and the Lavender Bloom petit cakes.
