In one of the final and most endearing scenes, Howie is in the library with Lindsay, sharing a box of the treats that he had previously imagined the mystery woman to enjoy - Petits Fours!
Open on the study table, is a pastel blue box of petits fours (from Bon Vivant New York). Lindsay and Howie are seen talking and laughing in carefree ebullience as Lindsay enjoys a bite of the petit four adorned with a pink rosebud.
This year, we’ve been inspired by the celebrated royal Fabergé eggs to design our Christmas Ornament holiday collection.
These majestic creations are known all over the world for their unique artistry and exquisiteness. In 1885, Tsar Alexander III commissioned the House of Fabergé, to design the first ornamental egg known as the Hen Egg, for his wife Empress Maria Feodorovna as a gift to her for the Easter holiday.
Each year after that, Fabergé would create a new ornamental egg for the Tsar to continue this tradition for his beloved wife, which later his son Nicholas II also continued for his own wife. These imperial eggs became more elaborate and innovative in their design, with intricate details and mechanisms, vibrant colors and precious stones.
Our Bon Vivant Christmas Ornament collection is a romantic and whimsical tribute to the magnificent beauty of these treasures. Our handcrafted petit cakes are created in the most decadent flavors of Rose Petal, Lemon Zest, and Bourbon Vanilla, featuring luscious fondant in rich jewel tones of amethyst, gold and turquoise, and each cake is adorned with a pearlized sugar flower or golden snowflake for a festive holiday touch.
The Christmas Ornament collection will be available to preorder online at bonvivantnewyork.com. The Christmas Ornament Petit Four flight will be available starting Thanksgiving at The Regency Bar & Grill at Loews Regency New York.

Nestled on a quiet midtown street, amidst a row of luxury design stores, the Bon Vivant provides an uniquely elegant coffeehouse experience. Serving a menu of Julius Meinl coffee along with classic petit fours, in a beautiful and serene space, the cafe evokes the delicious indulgence of the Viennese coffeehouses of the belle epoque.
Julius Meinl Coffees, founded in Vienna in 1862, is one of the oldest coffee roasters in the world. Extensive coffee know-how in green coffee purchasing, long-term relationships with coffee farmers, a careful selection of beans, and a typical Viennese roasting by coffee specialists help ensure the perfect cup of coffee*. It is that perfect experience that Bon Vivant seeks to provide, delivering one of the best espressos in midtown Manhattan.
As one of the Flavor Partners for Loews Regency in New York, we joined them in hosting a Mother’s Day preview event in April to gear up for the big day.
At The Regency Bar & Grill, guests were able to enjoy delicious samples of the special Mother’s Day brunch menu items, and kids had a chance to decorate their own Bon Vivant petits fours and petit cakes.
It was such a fun and creative event for everyone who attended, and we're so happy we could be a part of it all.
Last October, Loews Regency New York launched its Loews Flavors Program where the hotel partners with the city’s finest local establishments – restaurants, bars, and artisans, to feature special events and activities all within the hotel for guests and visitors to enjoy.
At the Loews Client Event, partners and clients sampled an assortment of Bon Vivant’s exquisite petits fours, and were treated to a live demonstration of cake decoration and piping techniques, making it both an interactive and delicious experience for everyone.
Whether you are celebrating a special birthday, a grand wedding, a small dinner-party, or some other occasion, here are 5 excellent reasons to have New York's best petits fours and petit cakes to ensure you have a fabulously festive time.
You can forget the knife! They conveniently come in perfect individually-portioned serving sizes. No need for a knife and no need to cut the cake.
They stay fresh for 10 days! The outer fondant glaze along with the layer of marzipan seals and protects the moist, liqueur-laced cakes from exposure to air, which is the primary cause for cakes going stale.
You can try a variety of flavors instead of just one large single flavored cake. Small individual cakes means you can try more than one flavor. Additionally, there is an exciting assortment of flavors such as Lavender Bloom and Lemon Zest, that will satisfy varying palates.
No cleaning up. Individual pieces means no mess from cutting nor any cleaning up afterwards.
You can have a cake all to yourself! Then there is the charm of having a pretty cake all to yourself! Moreover, in the unusual chance that you would prefer to save it for later, the conveniently packaged cake can be easily taken home too.
Richly hued flower bouquets, gilded chandeliers, velvet and lace adorned tables are some of the details from a Victorian themed wedding shoot by Faye & Renee, with whom we had the pleasure of collaborating. The gorgeous details from this inspired shoot have now been featured on Knots Villa.
Presented on the dessert table are Bon Vivant petit cakes decorated in the Gold Rococo gold Sugar Blossom styles. A two-tiered celebration cake draped in gold sugar lace makes a central focal point alongside the beautiful Victorian floral and crystal decorations in the vibrantly colored hall in the James Ward mansion.
